DISTRICT 2
Tributes, I'd like a full report of today's training. Spare no detail.
I'd also like to know your feelings on the typical alliance we form. Are you interested in it? Remember that for the last two years it got a District Two tribute to the final two. VICTORS
Congratulations to you, Regina, on your anniversary this year. Two decades of being a wonderful mentor. |

Well, at least now we don't have to worry about them being unable to kill each other. Especially since I'm not sure Gallus would have been able to do it.
I'm glad at least he is with what's left of their supplies. Echo seems to have very little on her, which will be to his advantage. And if he's smart he'll scavenge the camp for the best stuff that made it through the earthquake before Glint and Shine return, since we don't know what might happen then. If they return. Unfortunately, I suspect things may be a repeat of last year, but this time without our boy and Four's girl regrouping against One. That was a smart move. I may have done the same thing had I been in Echo's place. In fact, I think I did something similar. |

Any luck with Miss Kitty Tunt? Or any of the Tunts? I'm still working on Sara DaLue, but she's being stubborn. You know how she is. Absolutely wonderful half the time, stubborn the other half.
I'd like to get meds to Gallus sooner rather than later, though I do appreciate the slight delay after Shine's outburst. |

We're doing well this year. They might be considered easy kills, but it's early enough that doesn't matter. Now to hope Livia makes one, though had she been too concerned she probably could have requested Gallus let her take him. Still, it's early and the pack seems strong. She will get one. First tribute to two. |

RISIO & ASH
Risio, Do you have plans to set up another meeting with the Districts One and Four mentors to talk about an alliance?
Also, I have an angle I need you to play for sponsors you talk up and send our way. Our tributes this year are genuine District Two kids - straight from homes where they haven't forgotten the rebellion or the sacrifices that the Capitol has made to keep peace in Panem. And their families have made sacrifices: Livia's father fought for the Capitol in the Dark Days, just like my own. Gallus' family is just as loyal.
And the two of them think that the others have forgotten the real reason behind the Hunger Games. To punish the Districts who rebelled. That's what they're here for, what they plan on doing. Showing the other districts that it's District Two who is the strongest, because we stood with the Capitol.
It's something that may be controversial among other victors, even though it really shouldn't be, so you'll also need to be cautious where you mention it. We don't want to lose an alliance before it even starts. DISTRICT 2 MENTORS & TRIBUTES
Tomorrow at training I need you two to start giving kids from the other districts (besides 1 & 4) looks. Scoff at them. Sneer at them. Show off in front of them. I'll have more instructions when we prepare for the interviews, but this will do for now.
And do you have anything to report from today's training? |

Tributes, I'd like a full report of today's training. Spare no detail. ASH
They seem like the perfect tributes this year. Strong, trained, dedicated, eager to enter the arena. Do you have any preference on training? I wouldn't mind separating them, but I also don't have much of a vision for either of them aside from what we came up with the other day. This year looks promising. |

Three now, essentially four. And only five left. Those two took a lot out of him but he still has our medical pack. That and a good rest should help enough, so long as One doesn't find him tonight. My only real worry is that the chunk of flesh the little one took will get infected. Still, it won't be long now before it's over he's home.
He was ruthless, and I'm glad. That's what we need from here on out. I nearly missed Achilles' kill tonight, napping. I'm glad I didn't. It was a great fight, one we'll probably see replays of until the end of the Games. Your kids sure put on a show, Mica, Madoc. They learn that all from you? |

It seems like he didn't need our help after all to go after Haline. ASH
He did it. It was a good fight for the viewers and he didn't hesitate at all. I have to say that I'm relieved. It could have gone better, yes, but it also could have gone much worse and I think we're in a position where, despite his injuries, people know he's not out for the count.
Oh, and we should go to this party tonight. There could be sponsors ready to reward Achilles for his kill. We both know what he needs. Things are certainly moving faster. Maybe we'll be home by the end of next week. Your girl put up a good fight, Tesla. |

I hope the rumors I hear around here aren't indicative of the Capitol as a whole. We're lucky there's nothing he needs right now. I'm always impressed how the Gamemakers manage to put cameras in all the caves. |

I think Hippolyta's arm is broken. She seemed to be trying to hide it the few times the cameras showed her but it's looking worse today than it did yesterday. I think I've found a sponsor willing to send her pain medication, but she's being difficult. Actually, I think she wants you to be the one to deal with her. One of those old ladies who needs younger men to flirt with them to feel good about themselves. [...] Would you?
She seems to be in the southern forest somewhere, and judging from cameras, the boy from district twelve and then the small pack with both from five and the girl from eleven are in the general vicinity. I'm worried about her running into that pack.
I'm going to be out all night finding someone in this city who will buy her a weapon. You know how to contact me if you need. MAGS

DISTRICT 2
I hope you've been talking a bit here and there to the Districts 1 and 4 tributes. You're in an alliance with them now and though it can't last forever, learning to work with them and their weaknesses will be vital.
Good luck tomorrow, too, but don't worry too much. Unless your scores are really abysmal, it won't affect sponsorship. HIPPOLYTA
What do you have in mind to show the Gamemakers tomorrow? Luckily you'll be the fourth they see, so they'll still be in a good mood and you shouldn't have a problem getting a decent score. I'll be by for breakfast tomorrow to go over everything before the training in detail, but I'd like to hear any ideas you have now.
We'll spend the latter part of the day prepping you for the interview, your time split between Risio and I. You don't have a problem walking in heels, right? Training always seems to fly by. |

DISTRICT 2 MENTORS & TRIBUTES
Today's training includes fishing techniques. Given the unusual number of water-related stations this year, make sure you master this. Ask about fishing with spears and knives too, not just a line and a hook.
You have a few more assignments for today too: first, strike up conversations with the District 4 tributes today. We're working out details on an alliance and they may end up being an important lifeline in these Games. Second, keep an eye out for anyone else who seems skilled in fishing and report back to us. We do not want to rule out adding others to your alliance. HIPPOLYTA
Ash and I have decided that we're going to mentor you separately for the most part, unless you have any objection to that. I'll be working with you and he'll be working with Achilles.
We've been working on your angle with Risio and Florianna as well, and we're going to need you to start playing up the part in training. Your looks and dedication are two strengths we really want to play up, but that's a pretty tired image at this point so you need to add a bit of flair. Think fiery fury - you're ready to bite and claw your way to the top, but you're also like a cat. You purr too. Flirt with crowds, throw winks at the richer looking folk. Lastly, and this bit is important, you like to play with your food before you eat it.
Any concerns? MENTORS & SUPPORT STAFF
I hope you're all ready for my outfit for President Snow's party tonight. |

Tributes, I'd like a full report of today's training. Spare no detail. ASH CONVOY
What are your thoughts on training separately or switching off? I have a lot in mind for Hippolyta and could probably work well with her, but I'm not sure I could do Achilles by myself.
Would it be too much to ask you to take Achilles? You look at him I'm sure I could do just as well switching with you for Hippolyta as I could individually. |
